Dr. Corinne Fleming is a Clinical Psychologist at Edgewood Clinical Services. She completed her undergraduate education at Michigan State University, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She then pursued a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, and graduated from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2014 with a concentration in child and adolescent mental health.
Dr. Fleming is passionate about providing psychological services to children, adolescents, and families. She has experience providing individual, group, and family therapy, as well as comprehensive psychological evaluations, to individuals experiencing a wide range of social, emotional, and behavioral concerns (including mood and anxiety disorders, personality disorder features, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, and autism spectrum disorders). Dr. Fleming’s areas of special clinical interest include mood difficulties, anxiety concerns, self-injury, and trauma.
Dr. Fleming believes that therapy is best conducted in the context of a strong client-therapist relationship. Her style therefore balances empathy, openness, playfulness, structure, and warmth to help clients feel understood, accepted, and safe. Her approach blends traditional and mindfulness-based cognitive-behavioral techniques with family therapy interventions to help clients gain the skills and insights needed to successfully navigate the world.
