Katie is a masters student in her final year at Aurora University pursuing a degree in Social Work. She received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Hope College in Holland, Michigan. She holds a current credential as a Registered Behavior Technician which she uses to practice Applied Behavior Analysis. She has experience in school, home, and clinical settings working with children with developmental delays as well as typically-developing children. She enjoys integrating techniques from a variety of clinical approaches such as CBT, Mindfulness, and Solution-Focused Therapy. She believes in empowering her clients and providing them with tools to manufacture their own successes. She enjoys watching her clients’ growth and she gains deep satisfaction knowing she has played a role in that.
