Alyssa is a clinical intern receiving her Master’s in Social Work from Aurora University. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work from Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois. She has previous experience in an in-home therapeutic environment, using applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy for children with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disorders. She also has experience in an early intervention setting working with children and families to strive for both growth and success for the future. Alyssa’s approach is to help clients identify areas of strength and access resources from within themselves and their larger communities to benefit their treatment. She believes in creating an open, comfortable, and understanding environment where clients can find healing, courage, and hope they desire.
