Angela is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the State of Illinois and a National Certified Counselor. Angela received her Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Michigan State University, and Masters Degree from the Adler School of Professional Psychology. Angela has been working in the field of psychology since 2001 and has experience in a variety of capacities and settings including community mental health, residential, ER/hospitals, schools, day care centers, vocational workshops, and police stations.

Angela has experience in the areas of Bereavement, Health and Wellness, Crisis and Trauma, LGBT, Group and Family Dynamics, Personality Disorders, Parenting Skills, Nature and Therapy, Pet Therapy, Birth Order, Life Phase Adjustments, Chronic Mental Illness, Childhood Abuse, Suicidal Ideation, Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence, Sex Therapy, Fertility, Relaxation and Guided Imagery.

Angela takes an integrative and holistic approach to treatment with her clients. With a warm, inviting, friendly, direct, and at times humorous approach, Angela will treat her clients with unconditional positive regard to best address her clients’ well being. Angela believes therapy is about personal wellness and that everyone can benefit from the process. She places a strong focus on assisting clients to achieve their full potential on their terms with a flexible, eclectic approach to identifying and meeting the individual needs of each person and family. Angela will assist individuals in setting realistic goals to help them grow and heal throughout life’s journey, while gaining the personal skills to identify and remove obstacles preventing them from moving forward in life – all in a non-judgmental environment. Angela explores each client to find their personal meaning and purpose in life and to improve their relationship with self, others, and the world around them.
