Dr. Wiseman received her undergraduate degree with honors from the University of Notre Dame and earned her medical degree from Georgetown University in 2001. She completed her residency in Psychiatry at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2005 while simultaneously earning her masters degree in public health. After graduating from residency, she moved to Boston where she was the attending psychiatrist in the partial hospital at Cambridge Hospital. In addition to being an instructor at Harvard Medical school, she was awarded a Miles Shore Research Grant in 2008 to study how physicians in different practice settings manage chronic mental illness.
After moving to Chicago in 2010, she worked at Northwestern University as a consult-liaison psychiatrist and provided supervision to psychiatry residents, in addition to treating patients in the Northwestern Medical Faculty Foundation.
Since 2011, Dr. Wiseman has managed her solo private practice, working with patients above age 18 with a variety of psychiatric disorders.
