Holly is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Illinois. Holly received her Bachelor Degree in Psychology from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Valparaiso University.
Holly has experience working with children, adolescents, and teens with Down’s Syndrome and on the Autism Spectrum. She has performed ABA services, as well as done individual therapy for clients who did not qualify for ABA services. Holly enjoys working with children of all developmental levels and their families in order to help them reach their full potential as a family unit, whoever that unit may include.
Holly has experience working with children and families through individual therapy and family therapy, as well as parenting training. She has worked with many systems including schools, DCFS, and community social service providers. Holly uses strength-based approaches through behavioral and client-centered therapy. Holly’s philosophy includes using positive psychology approaches to help empower her clients to be their authentic selves and live their lives to the fullest.
