Kristina Staack is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Illinois. Kristina completed her undergraduate education at DePaul University, earning a Bachelor’s degree in psychology. Kristina then went on to obtain her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counselor from the Adler School of Professional Psychology.
Kristina has spent the last few years working with both adolescents and adults in a community mental health center focusing on a number of issues including depression, anxiety, difficulty forming relationships, and struggles to maintain boundaries with families. Kristina enjoys helping others find empowerment, develop coping skills, improve self-esteem, and finding direction and purpose in life.
Kristina has a collaborative approach to therapy, where she utilizes strength based and solution focused approaches, as well as acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT}, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing. She believes that each ond every one of us is the expert of our own lives. Kristina works with individuals to help guide them to reach their goals and discover personal strengths to live a life that is more fulfilling.
