Marta is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Illinois and is fluent in Polish. She earned her Bachelors in Psychology and her Masters in Clinical Psychology from Benedictine University. Marta completed her clinical internship at Central DuPage Hospital where she worked in the adult Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient behavioral health unit. She has conducted individual therapy, lead process groups and taught psychoeducational classes.
Although Marta utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches to meet the specific needs of her clients, she enjoys integrating Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Expressive Therapy. Her client-focused background from Benedictine University gives her the ability to quickly build rapport with her clients by providing a safe space to heal, grow and learn.
