Megan Heniff, AMFT


Megan received her master’s degree at Adler University with focus in Couples and Family therapy. She received her Bachelor’s degree at Northern Illinois University majoring in Family and Individual Development. Megan has previous experience working in clinical, school, and residential settings as a systemic counselor. Her work experience ranges from children with ADHD, adolescents and self harm, to families experiencing grief and adjustment disorders. Some areas of interest include  anxiety, ODD, ADHD/ADD, familial and couple relationship challenges, parenting issues, emotional regulation, grief, and trauma.

Megan provides a client-centered approach while also considering the various systemic contexts in each person’s life. Other approaches considered for treatment include cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, family systems, and trauma informed approaches. Megan provides an approachable and relaxing environment to work with her clients and finds great joy in helping them along their path to success treatment.
