Samantha is a Licensed Social Worker in the state of Illinois.  Originally from Kansas, she earned her Masters of Social Work from Washburn University in 2013.  Samantha earned her B.S. in Sociology with a concentration in Applied Behavioral Science from the University of Kansas.


Samantha has experience working with all ages, in a variety of settings.  Samantha has focused her career on providing trauma-informed care for children, adolescents, and adults. Her most recent clinical focus was rooted in helping those stabilize and manage their mental health in an inpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient settings. Although Samantha integrates a variety of therapeutic approaches to meet the needs of her clients, she’s enjoys utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy , Dialectical Behavior Therapy , and Solution-Focused techniques.


Samantha values her empathetic approach and is able to quickly build a rapport with her clients by providing a safe environment to grow and heal.  Samantha enjoys the opportunity of truly getting to know and understand her clients so that she may best provide them with the tools and skills to live a more satisfying life.
