Dr. Battle is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over 15 years’ experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families, in a variety of settings including in-home care, private practice, therapeutic day schools, K-12 schools, and community mental health facilities. She welcomes clients from different ethnic backgrounds, religious affiliations, and sexual orientations. She works with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, traumatic/abuse histories, job stress, grief, adjustment issues, and marital problems.


Dr. Battle offers individual, couples/marriage, spiritual/Christian counseling, and group therapy. Dr Battle offers psychological testing for children, adolescents, and adults. She conceptualizes cases from a Person-Centered approach and from an Emotion-Focused therapeutic lens.


Dr. Battle integrates other approaches, as needed, in an effort to meet the clients’ individual needs. She believes in the capacity of the human spirit to change, adjust, and become more insightful which cultivates the resiliency to overcome life’s challenges.
